Feeling pretty good today!

Scored a 92% on my Operating Systems midterm. It only took me 15 minutes to complete! … Neat!

So just for funzies I took a practice test for CompTIA A+ Certification. One of the questions I was given was this. I find it an odd position for Stacey while on a laptop…maybe it is just me though?

A customer called me FAGGOT at work today…

I turned around and yelled SERIOUSLY while looking them in the eye with my best

Go Fuck Yourself for being an Idiot look. It worked, they walked away and I saw

the shame on their faces…Bitches. I wish I could have said more about my feelings

on the subject but I was at work….and I do need a paycheck…Damn it.

In regard to my previous video posts.

I think it is HIGHLY suspicious that a retail chain would have anything to do with Homeland security or the safety of our country. There are two things, I think, that need to be looked at here.

What could a retailer gain from teaming up with a government agency? I think getting chummy with the government could lead to plenty of problems. It may be paranoia talking but Friends help Friends and with as much power as some Major Retail Chains (hereafter known as MRC’s because I don’t want to type it each time) have it is not a big leap to believe that they already do, and could better, influence people with a connection to a government agency.

Not to mention that there is no sincerity in the message. I can guarantee that companies like this have no real motivation other than money. They get to look like the hero company trying to keep everyone safe and that could never get a person to spend money with them over someone else who is apparently doing nothing to help “fight the good fight.”

The problem is that there are so many people that will see this and believe that they have the best intentions for us all and not realize how strange it is that this kind of partnership has been made.

I don’t believe that people will start going bat-shit crazy and start turning everyone they see in but with the customer IQ hovering around 80 for the majority of the patrons of these stores (at least that’s what I believe it is), I do think that stupid mistakes will be made. This fosters animosity among people to be told to be on the look-out for “suspicious” behavior.

It makes me wonder, also, if MRC’s get some sort of kickback for turning people in. This is a little far-fetched to me, even though I thought it, but when has a MRC ever done anything that did not benefit them financially in some way? The only reason there are donations made and community service is done is because they can use that money they lost as a tax write-off and they look good to the public. Where is the real good will behind the action? This, to me, seems to be nothing more than a way to foster mistrust and improve monetary gains. Even if they don’t get a kickback they still have the “hero” card to play to the public which, again, will only bring people in because they think the store is doing its patriotic duty.

I could be wrong though. I could just be paranoid about this but it scares me when the Playground Bully is in league with the Principal of the School.

What do you think?

Since when does a Retail Chain store have anything to do with Homeland Security or deciding what is suspicious behavior or not. Since when do they have ANYTHING to do with the safety of the United States of America? Oh what does the future hold?

I think that my presence at work…

Is unlocking some latent homosexual feelings in a co-worker. There is this person I work with. He is married and has two kids. Before he was married his wife worked with us. I told her I thought he had just a touch of queer in him.

I say this because of the things he says to me. I have never known any straight man to joke so much about my being gay in such a way. He jokes constantly about me “wanting” him. I think I could have him if I wanted to. He “jokes” about having to go to the bathroom and asks if I want to hold it. He even looks for men to point out to me that he knows I would find attractive. I am not usually the one to think someone is gay when they say they are not but seriously the man is practically begging for dick…or to do something with a guy. Even his wife thinks it is a little strange sometimes not to mention all of his friends. I am pretty lenient when it comes to joking around at work. As long as we are all having fun I could care less if other people joke about being gay, hell, I don’t even care if they say some downright nasty horrible things…which they have. I am not one of those “Oh God you said queer! That’s offensive!” people. I have a sense of humor and am able to remove insult from a joke. But that is how we all get along. We talk shit, no different than anyone else really. But this one person seems to have some unresolved homosexual tendencies he has to deal with.

What would you think if someone who claimed to be straight made constant overt suggestions about some sexual contact? If you worked with someone who was “straight” but would often joke about you sucking him off or holding his dick for some reason or another…what message would that say to you?

Have I ever mentioned…

How much I love the voice of Cee Lo Green? Some of his songs aren’t for me but his voice is so amazing to me. Plus some of his songs are so catchy…and not in that shitty trendy way either. I like Fuck You and its throwback to the 50’s feel. Georgia and Bright Lights Bigger City are great too. I think I will have to download these.

Just sayin’ …
